The vocations committee assists the Basilica of St. Paul community in fulfilling and advancing its mission of fostering vocations. The committee does this by reminding parish members to respond to God’s call in their lives, especially to ordained ministry and consecrated life. The vocations committee exists to support our pastor and ministerial staff as they shepherd the entire parish family through initiatives of prayer, promotion, mentoring, and invitation.

Each year, the committee provides a Basilica prayer for vocations. At the 8:30am, 11:00am, and 1:00pm masses, a Basilica prayer chalice is passed from one family to another to pray for vocations during the week. Please contact the parish office if you are interested in having the prayer chalice in your home for the week.
